Brainstorm Blog 2

For this project I am leaning towards using everyday household sounds to create my audio. Using things that may not be traditional as far as songs go is something that has always been fascinating to me. Having seen The Blue Man Group perform and videos of STOMP, those have been a source of inspiration for me to draw from for this project. The sound files that I contributed were all things that can be done at any person’s residence much like how STOMP uses brooms, mops, trash cans, etc. to create their own unique sounds. Using running water, silverware clanking together, opening a can and pouring the drink over ice, and many other common sounds, will be interesting to mesh all together to create this project. Playing and gaining experience

with a new software in the Adobe suite will be super interesting and is something that I am really looking forward to throughout project 2.
